About the Job
We’re seeking a compassionate, experienced Non-Invasive Scheduler to join our team at Cardiovascular Specialists of New England! You will manage appointments, tests, and provider schedules, focusing on diagnostic procedures like echocardiograms and stress tests rather than surgical interventions. This role coordinates patient care, verifies insurance, and maintains appointment software to ensure efficient clinic workflow.
What you’ll do:
Coordinate patient appointments for non-invasive cardiac tests (e.g., Echo, EKG, Stress Tests, Holter monitors).
Manage provider schedules in the system.
Confirm appointments, provide pre-test instructions, and manage patient waitlists.
Verify referrals, obtain insurance pre-authorizations, and process necessary paperwork.
Solid understanding of insurance verification, insurance registration workflows, and prior authorization requirement.
Liaise between patients, nurses, and cardiologists.
What you’ll need:
Prior experience in a fast-paced hospital or clinic based in cardiology preferred
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum one (1) year scheduling experience in an ambulatory surgery facility, acute-care hospital, or doctors office
Athena experience preferred but not required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in all areas.
Able to work independently in high pressure situations.
Work Location:
You will work out of the Londonderry, NH office.
Additional Information:
Hourly rate to commensurate with experience plus medical, dental, and vision.
